Pinball Promos produces music videos for a wide range of record labels and bands working with numerous talented directors and artists. We work on ambitious and creative films that complement and support the image and message of the artist, at the same time as providing a valuable moving image tool for their promotion. As a producer we are happy to collaborate and production manage the filmmakers and vision that a band has, providing those skills that allow a promo to be realised to the complete satisfaction of the talent.

We have a small roster of directors we work with directly, including Beck's Futures winning visual artist Matt Stokes, maverick visionary and genius writer Sean Conway, enfant terrible of  erotic British cinema Ashley Horner and lo- fi, deconstructivist, indie-king Matt Hulse. To date we have worked with PIAS, 4AD, Bella Union & Domino Recording Co delivering high quality promos to tight budgets and even tighter schedules. ​Pinball Promos is part of the Pinball Films family managed by Producer/Director Ashley Horner (1969), an experienced film professional well versed in working with new, outsider and maverick talent. A former professional guitarist performing with indie art rockers PALE SAINTS (4AD) & THE EDSEL AUCTIONEER (Decoy), after which film school beckoned, where Ashley made his first short films and spent hard time cutting celluloid.

In 2010 Ashley completed his second feature ‘brilliantlove’, an erotic drama, that caused a stir at the Tribeca Film Festival, New York that year. Described by festival programmer Roya Rastegar as “a gorgeous and dangerous marinade of passion, art, and ambition that languorously intoxicates the senses”. Its explicit content divided the critics and was loved by audiences.  It had it’s UK premier at the prestigious Edinburgh Film Festival where it was in competition for the Michael Powell Award. Ashley is an ACE producer, an EAVE graduate and a member of the European Film Academy.
